These courses are competency based, students are assessed on work-related skills.
These skills count towards a Vocational Education and Training Certificate. The knowledge and skills in these courses can also be assessed by the HSC examination. Only one VET course can be used in calculations for the ATAR in Year 12.
At Sefton High School students may study Hospitality – Kitchen Operations 240 hours. This course requires 70 hours of work placement.
